The SMILE Foundation believes in ‘A happier today and a healthier tomorrow for kids with rare diseases.’
How do we achieve this? SMILE is achieving a ‘healthier tomorrow’ for kids with rare diseases through our Research Program. We will back outstanding medical research projects to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these conditions. Whilst research is important, it is also vital to enhance these children’s and their families' lives now, creating a ‘happier today’. SMILE will help achieve this through our Family Relief Program, providing financial assistance to families for essentials like medical equipment, transport, carers and general living expenses.
